Hi again! My name is Genesis and I am a student at the University of Windsor in the MSc. Translational Health Science program. I am an avid learner, enjoy making connections with individuals, and hope to make a difference in this world!
My Story
I was born in Venezuela and migrated to Canada in 2009. The navigation of a new language, country, and culture made me build a lot of resilience and grit.
Fun facts about me:
- I am interested in women’s health issues and improving mental health & well-being using an interdisciplinary approach
- I love drinking coffee
- I can speak fluent Spanish
- I love lifting heavy things and playing/watching rugby (it’s been a while since I’ve played)
- I have the cutest puppy (her name is Maple and she is an F1B Saint Berdoodle)
